





Flight Information Display system (FIDS)
Background
You may not have heard of Anaara before, but quite likely you have come across our work. At Dulles Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, and airports all across the nation and overseas, they have replaced the traditional monitors that you used to see in most airports with a flight information display system (FIDS) - the presentation tier (interface) is created dynamically by a Flash application that receives all the data via XML streams from a Windows 2003 (.Net) server.
